What is VoIP processor?

VoIP processor is the logic defined circuit that responds to and processes
the basic orders that drive a computer. It should deliver and record low
power consumption and handle VoIP, networking, user interface and audio software.

It should manage the VoIP software, networking stack and user interface, while dedicated DSPs handle the real-time audio and graphics.
